Jarboe on Optimizing for Search and Engaging the Community
Friday, July 3, 2009 at 4:38PM ChannelOne's Greg Jarboe is blogging over at SearchEngineWatch.com about a project that two members of the ChannelOne Marketing team have been working on: the rollout of a series of "Save the Dream" events to help homeowners avoid foreclosure, restructure home loans, and reduce mortgage rates for NACA (the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America).
Says Jarboe about the unfolding case study:
"It offers lots of lessons to search engine marketers, YouTube directors and entrepreneurs about how to create unique, relevant content that can quickly gain popularity in the Internet community."
Some of the components of the campaign that Jarboe discusses are a search-optimized news release, outreach to the blogger community, and a YouTube video (as well as a documentary) produced by ChannelOne partner DigiNovations:
